FocalPoint Collector Edition is a Batch scanner that allows you to audit merchandise, create purchase request and lookup up merchandise using UPC. The first thing you should do when you receive your device is go into the Terminal File List and Update Collector Runtime to the latest version
Main Menu
•Collector 1.0 - The "1.0" repersents the version of FocalPoint collector the device is running, during the connection process you will be asked to confirm this version against what version of FocalPoint Desktop is compatible with and if its different to update the device with a new version of the Batch Program.
•Upload data - This menu option can be ignored and is not used
•Utilities - This menu option contains different functions that Visum Support may ask you to go into from time to time for troubleshooting
•FTP - This menu option can be ignored and is not used
