The Services tab contains information on the current state of services used in FocalPoint Software along with controls for maintenance of these services.
•License Service: Responsible for all license information and checks for valid licenses in the FocalPoint application.
•Server Service: Responsible for the Email Queue and all schedules in the Processes tab along with other communications within the FocalPoint Suite of products.
•Mobile Service: Responsible for communication with FocalPoint Mobile Edition.
•Hosted Service: Responsible for E-Signature and other offerings that require inner Web Hosting.
Services
•State - Each of the four services has a control that indicates their current state. A green light shows that the service is started and working properly. In almost all instances the four services are started automatically after a restart of the server and should always be in a state of “Started” with a green light.
•Start/Stop - If a service has not started for some reason, it will show a red light next to it for a status and it can be attempted to manually start. For example, if it is noted that emails are not being processed out of the email queue the Server Service may not be started. Click the Start Service button to attempt to restart manually. If restarting a service does not work and it still has a red light present for the status, then contact Visum Support.
•Install/Remove - Controls for Installing and removing services should only be performed by Visum Support team members
