As mentioned in the dispatch section of this help file,In order to utilize the dispatch area in FocalPoint, you will need to set up your delivery vehicles in a truck file

 

When adding a truck, you may want to start thinking about how much you charge for your deliveries and pickups on a “per mile” or “per minute” charge.  You will at some point soon be able to estimate delivery/pickup charges for your customer by using miles or minutes in correlation with these fields to get a quick estimate of how much to charge your customer for deliveries and pickups.

 

The weight field represents the weight capacity of the truck, which will be useful when we start looking through the dispatch screen.  If your rental items have weights and your trucks and weight capacities, FocalPoint can certainly help you keep track of delivery and pickup weights.
