The country file is used primarily as a list for selection in various programs. For example, when adding a customer or a vendor, one of the fields in the customer or vendor file may be "country", and this field would have a drop down list. The choices found in the drop down list would come from this file.
Currently, FocalPoint Software is only marketed in the United States, and only the USA and Canada are entered in this file. If you have a customer from somewhere other than the United States or Canada, please see the "Address Information - Actual" section in the Customer Information Screen fields in the Customer File.
