You may use this screen to view a list of open rental turns in your store

"Rental Turns" functionality is in FocalPoint for rental items that are not immediately available after they are returned but do not warrant the creation of a work order. For example, when linens are returned they usually unavailable for X number of days (to be cleaned) before they can be rented again.

To set the number of days that should elapse before a returned item is once again available, use the Turnaround Time field in the Rental Information Tab in the Rental File. This will indicate the number of days that the item will be unavailable.

Once these days have elapsed, nightly processing will automatically close these turnaround time records that were created as you were returning the items. During this turnaround time, these items will show "in shop" even though there is no work order associated with these items. If you look at shop notes in the Item Lookup Order Creation Screen you will be provided with information indicating that these items are in the middle of turnaround time.
